Living It Out
So what now? You know you're made in God's image. You know you have value. You know you're here for a reason. But what does that actually look like on a random Tuesday when you're just trying to make it through?
Being made in God's image isn't just about knowing you matter. It's about living like you matter, and like everyone else does, too.
When you show up for a friend who's struggling, you're reflecting God's compassion. When you create something (whether it's art, music, or just a thoughtful text), you're reflecting His creativity. When you refuse to join in on gossip or you stand up for someone, you're reflecting His justice.
You don't have to wait until you've "figured out your calling" to start living this. The good works God prepared for you aren't some far-off thing. They're in the everyday: how you treat your family, how you respond when someone annoys you, how you spend your time, and who you encourage.
Your life's the canvas. Every day, you get to reflect who God is. That's not pressure. It's purpose. You're not trying to earn your value. You already have it. You're just learning to live like it's true.
So go ahead. Step into today knowing you were made for this. Not for perfection. For purpose. Not to have it figured out. Just to reflect the One who does.
Question: What's one practical way you can reflect God's image in your life today?
Practice: Choose one person today (friend, family, stranger) and do something intentional to show them they matter. Text, compliment, help, listen. Reflect God's image by reminding someone else of theirs.
