DAY 10 OF 20

Using What You've Got

Your body is a temple. Not in the "you need to look perfect" way. In the "God literally lives in you" way.

The Holy Spirit isn't just floating around in your thoughts. He's in you. Physically. Which means your body isn't just yours to do whatever you want with. It belongs to God. And He wants you to honor Him with it.

What does that look like? It's not complicated. It's how you move through the world.

Do you use your strength to help people or hurt them? Do you use your voice to build people up or tear them down? Do you take care of your body so you can keep showing up for the things God's called you to, or do you run yourself into the ground?

Honoring God with your body doesn't mean perfection. It means intentionality. It means asking, "What can I do with what I've got?"

Maybe you're an athlete. Use that platform to point people to Jesus. Maybe you're artistic. Create something that reflects God's beauty. Maybe you're just good at showing up. Then show up. Be present. Use your physical presence to make people feel seen.

You were bought at a price. That's not guilt. That's freedom. You don't have to figure out what your body's for on your own. God already told you: it's for Him. And when you live that out, you'll find that honoring God with your body is the most fulfilling thing you can do.

Question: What's one way you can use your body to honor God this week?

Practice: Pick one physical action today (hug, help, create, serve) and do it with the intention of honoring God. Pay attention to how it feels.
