Fearless: A Six-Week Journey Halimbawa

WEEK 5: FEAR GOD
THE WATER OF HIS WORD
Read and meditate on Isaiah 40:9-10; Isaiah 41:13-14; Isaiah 43:1, 5; Isaiah 44:2, 8; Isaiah 51:7; Isaiah 54:4.
REFLECT
Life is not easy, but this life is not what it is all about. We have to live this life with the life we have ultimately been created for! We will live for eternity. We deserve Gods wrath and death. We deserve banishment and condemnation. We deserve hell and torment. But what has God given to us in Christ? What mercy and grace has been poured out? What life, then, do we want to live? One that is all about self, what she thinks, what she wants, and what she desires? Or one that is all about God, what He thinks, what He wants, and what He desires? His ways are not our ways, and we have to completely renounce our ways in order to live His ways. Only He can accomplish this in our hearts. Will you ask Him to do this? Will you ask Him to make His kingdom reign in your heart, in your mind, and in your life? Will you live for His kingdom, will you proclaim His kingdom, will you be willing to die for His kingdom?
FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART
Prayerfully consider and then try to recite Galatians 2:20.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
