Fearless: A Six-Week Journey Halimbawa

WEEK 4: GOING UP THE MOUNTAIN
THE WATER OF HIS WORD
Read Nehemiah 1:4-11 and Nehemiah 9:5-38.
As you pray, would you pray through Nehemiahs prayer for yourself, your family, your church, your city, and all of the believers in your nation? What thoughts come to mind as you pray?
WALK ON TRUTH
Think ... stop and think. Ask, Am I living on the truth? Am I walking on the truth? Is truth my Lord, or is it feeling? Am I going to believe my feelings, relying on my own insight, or am I going to believe God and His word? Choose this day whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15).
Take a moment to reflect upon what you have learned and meditated upon during the past few weeks. How will you live with a holy fear of the Lord? Why is it such a blessing to know your weakness? What does it mean to walk on truth, to go up on the mountain? How can all of these things help you live by faith when you are faced with fear? Ask the Lord to continue to give you greater understanding during the next few weeks. What does He want you to do with what you have studied? What needs to change in the way you think, act, respond, or schedule your week? Is there a Scripture He wants you to take to heart? How can you put this into practice? Bring this all before the Lord in prayer.
FOCUS THE EYES OF YOUR HEART
Recite Deuteronomy 6:4-6 from memory.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
