BE COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF
"I don't like my life", she said. The challenges she had been facing have been overwhelming, and they seemed endless. If you are in her shoes right now, there is a certainty that you are only going through it; it's just a phase, not “the place”. Get comfortable with who you are and the process you're going through. It's only a character-building process. You never know how significant “process” is until you watch someone else go through the same or more and come out shining.
Don't get edgy about your present self. Love yourself. Value yourself. Think well of yourself and appreciate yourself. You deserve you, because you are simply awesome. You're so awesome that somebody else out there wants to be you. So, be cool with yourself because you rock, just the way you are.
Action Tip:
Write out a list of the things you love about yourself; against each point, write how that strength makes you feel in your everyday life and the good things that strength brings your way. Do the same for your weaknesses and write how they make you feel every day, and the bad situations they are likely to get you into. Then read out loud (to yourself) your strengths and how they make you feel. After reading it out, say to yourself, 'Wow! I'm awesome!’
Affirmations:
I declare today that I am awesome. I love and value my life. I appreciate myself because GOD made me. I am wonderfully made and beautifully crafted. My life amazes me and others around me. I think well of myself and others. I do not compare myself with others. I run at the pace GOD wants me to run. My time is in GOD’s hands; therefore, I do not get frustrated when I am in a process. I understand that there is a time and a season for everything. I believe that GOD is directly involved in my life and that he is on my side. Halleluyah!
