DAY 4 OF 21

BREAK THE CHAINS OF ADDICTION: INTERNET, ALCOHOL & DRUGS

Addictions are a bad thing and a door to much worse things. Some researchers say that there may be a correlation between internet screen time and depression. From research, people addicted to internet use are more likely to fall into depression. The same applies to alcohol use and drug abuse. If these are a struggle for you, then you need to break their hold over your life. Addictions are humbling, and they don't bring the excitement you need. Find out more about breaking addictions and stick to the plan; then, you will have exempted yourself from possible depression. Whatever is getting in the way of a happy life, let them off your life for good. You deserve to be joyful.

Action Tip:
Pick up your journal and write about any addictions you are struggling or stuck with and write how it makes you feel. Write what special thoughts you have for this addiction, and write out your plan to get over the addiction. Be as expressive as you can about your struggles.

Affirmations:

I declare today that anything and everything is possible because GOD is at the centre of my life. I understand that addictions are not easy, but possible to break. Therefore, I declare that, from today, I am free from all forms of addiction. I do not run under the shelter of the internet and alcohol, but I take responsibility for my life. I am not stuck. I am free from anything and everything that is set to hold me down. There is always a way out for me. I cannot be stranded. I refuse to be disadvantaged because everything works together for my good. Halleluyah!
