PICK UP A SPORT YOU ENJOY
Sports are another way for you to have fun while exercising. This doesn't have to be an everyday feat, except if you are competing in the Olympics. Pick up your favourite sport and find a way of engaging yourself in it. Video games won't count in this. Basketball? Go to the court and try it out - it is always fun. Make sure you play - enjoy the physical exercise. Sweat if you must, but try your best to get involved in your favourite sport. It will certainly help your mind. It is way better to be engaged in a sport than to be sitting in the corner of your room worrying about your life. Do something fun - do a sport. Play chess, try out swimming or football; table tennis is quite fun too... There are so many sports to pick up, I bet you'd find a perfect one for your kind of person, so no excuses.
Action Tip:
Think about 3 of your favourite sports and pen them down in your journal. Pick the sport that is most accessible to you and decide to participate in it every week or at least twice a month. You may choose weekends for sports. Find friends who will join you. Write down your decision to do that particular sport and work your way into enjoying active participation in what you have chosen.
Affirmations:
Your word is my manual. I declare according to Your Word that “I can do all things…” nothing is too difficult for me to do. No sport is difficult for me to engage in. I am equipped with all it takes to give myself to sports for my recreation. Because GOD delights in every detail of my life, I declare that my physical life and well-being are in great shape. I am safe and healthy. In Jesus Name. Amen
