River Valley Church SOAP - Part 9Sample

Thessalonians is a letter written to the church in Thessalonica. Scholars believe Paul wrote this letter while ministering in Corinth. Paul encouraged the people and celebrated their belief in Jesus and their turning away from idol worship. He encouraged the people to continue following the way of God through Christ in their love for one another. He cleared up the misconception that Jesus had already returned for his Church. How we treat one another is a consistent theme in Paul’s writings. He ends this letter with encouragement and blessings from the Lord.
