River Valley Church SOAP - Part 9Sample

Colossians is a letter from the Apostle Paul written to the church in Colossae believed to have been started by Epaphras. Paul encouraged the church by sharing his prayers for them to have wisdom and spiritual understanding about Christ. Christ was God, but he was also man and has been made of the Head of the Church. Reconciliation to God has come through Christ, and Paul’s desire was for each believer to be made mature in Christ. He warned them about getting entangled with things in this world rather than being grounded in Christ. Paul again addressed how we are to treat one another, and it is all based in being like Christ.
