Blessing For Todayគំរូ

God’s Abode
Once I read about Alexander the great, who went about conquering many cities. Whenever he conquered a city, he would say to the head of that town to build his statue and place it in the centre of the city. Once, he visited those cities as he was eager to see how they were faring. As he went from one city to another he was so glad to see his statue at the centre of every city. But, in one particular city, his statue was missing and this made him very angry. Immediately, he called all the elders of the city and shouted at them, “Where is my statue? Why hasn’t it been placed here?” They calmly replied, “Sir, please give us a moment.” And then they raised their voices and shouted, “Alexander”. Immediately, a bunch of boys came running to the centre of the city where everyone was standing. And the elders looked at Alexander and said, “Sir, we have not built your statue but, we have named our male children after you and made you a living legend.”
My friend, this is how God wants you to be. Jesus is not interested in statues of stone or portraits. He wants living sacrifices – living vessels to carry Him and honour Him. He is waiting for you to surrender your life as a living sacrifice. Today, make a decision to surrender yourself, as the living sacrifice carrying Jesus in your heart.
Prayer
“Loving Lord, I thank You for speaking to me through this word of blessing. Father, I commit myself as a living sacrifice; come and dwell in me. Let not the devil touch me. But let Your Holy Spirit transform me as Your temple. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
‘Give your heart as a dwelling place to Jesus’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
