Freedom from Fear
Today, the lives of so many are being tossed by fear. It is sin that brings fear into us. Fear is the devil’s gateway into ourselves. When we sin and open our hearts to the devil, fear comes into us, on its own. Fear arises in us because of the dark forces of the devil. The link between God and man is severed.
Dear friend, when you fall into sin, the devil enters your life, fills your hearts with fear, and shatters your peace! How can we be liberated from fear? One day in a Jesus Calls meeting, a participant gave the following testimony: “Because of my sin and evil thoughts, I could not sleep for eight years. I lost my peace. I came to this meeting to find out if Jesus could do something for me. During prayer time, I cried out in prayer, ‘Jesus! Come into me. Change my life inside out!’ Jesus did enter my heart. He changed my entire life. Now I live in peace.”
My dear friend, to bring peace into our lives, Jesus Christ bore our sorrows and burdens and passed through the painful way of the cross. Seek Christ who bore all your sins. God’s love will dispel all fear and lead you triumphantly through this new day with new strength.
Prayer
“Loving Lord Jesus, come into my heart right now and fill me with Your love and grant me Your heavenly peace. Remove all the fear from my heart right now. Please forgive me of my sins. I want You Jesus and I need You always. All glory, honour and praises belong to You alone. Amen.

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
