Star of Hope 

Mohammad Azharuddin, a former Indian cricketer, won many matches for India. In the initial days when he played the best innings for his school and won matches, a magazine wrote about him like this, “A star is born in the world of cricket.” This was hot news those days and it topped the headlines of all the newspapers. The Indian Cricket Board took notice of him and he was selected for the Indian team to play national and international matches. The Indian team started winning one match after another, and he became the new star of hope for the Indian cricket team. 

My dear friend, those days when the human kind became corrupted and was in a hopeless situation, bound in the clutches of the devil, God looked at them with great agony. He loved you so much that He sent His only Son for you to be saved. Yes, Jesus came to earth as the Star - the Star of hope in our troubled life. When the wise men saw the Star of David, they recognized it with joy. When you too look at Jesus, the star of hope, joy will fill your heart. Jesus will be your Saviour, Wonderful Counsellor, Protector, Friend, Father and Your star of hope. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for giving Your only Son to save me. Father, let Jesus the star of hope, be my hope in my hopeless situation. Father, I pray for Your guidance, protection and blessings. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
