God Lives in You
Do you think of the Holy Spirit as someone who is with you occasionally, or someone who is actually present in your life every day?
When Paul talks about salvation in Titus, the Holy Spirit is at work right in the centre of it.
“…whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Saviour.” (Titus 3:6, NIV)
Those words ‘poured out’ matter. It’s not a small measure. It’s not occasional. It’s generous!
The Spirit isn’t an add-on to the Christian life. He is how God is present with us now.
Sometimes we can associate the Holy Spirit mostly with certain moments, worship, prayer, or specific experiences. Those moments matter, but they’re certainly not the whole picture!
The Spirit is involved in the everyday. He is the one shaping your thoughts, nudging your conscience, reminding you of truth, and forming your character over time.
Paul says in Galatians 2:20: “Christ lives in me.” How is that possible? Christ lives in us through the Spirit! This is how God’s life is at work in us.
There are moments where we become especially aware of the Spirit’s presence or empowerment. Scripture talks about being filled and even being empowered to be a witness (Acts 1:8). But underneath those moments is a steady, ongoing reality; God is with you.
And not just with you, but in you. That means your life is not just your own effort. There is help, guidance, and strength available.
Often the invitation is simple: to become more aware of Him and more responsive to Him in ordinary moments.
Reflection & Practice:
Set aside a few moments today to slow down and acknowledge the Holy Spirit. You might simply say, “Holy Spirit, I know You are with me.”
Over the next few days, try to notice the small promptings. Maybe moments where you feel nudged to respond differently, speak, pause, or act. Pay attention, follow, and note one of those promptings each day.
About this Plan

We were made for more and created to live differently. We are not just forgiven, we are being formed. Through the gospel, God makes us new and calls us to reflect Jesus in the way we live and love. This Bible plan explores how salvation is not the finish line, but the starting point of a transformed life.
