DAY 6 OF 10

The Way We Live Together Matters

What do people see when they look at your Christian community?

Paul is very aware that how believers live together shapes how others see the gospel.

In Titus 2, after giving instructions to different groups, he connects it to something bigger: how the message of God is perceived.

“…so that no one will malign the word of God.” (Titus 2:5, NIV)

And later: “…so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.” (Titus 2:8, NIV)

The way we relate to one another matters! Things like self-control, kindness, patience, and integrity might not feel dramatic, but they are deeply meaningful. They create an environment where people can see something different.

Community has a way of revealing things in us. It shows where we’re growing, and where we still need growth.

It can also be the place where healing happens. It’s where people experience grace, support, and encouragement.

This kind of community doesn’t happen automatically. It’s built through everyday choices in how we speak, how we respond, and how we treat one another.

Reflection & Practice:
Think about one of your regular environments: church, work, family, or friendships.

This week, choose one way to contribute to a healthier environment. It could be encouraging someone, being patient, or showing up consistently.

At the end of the week, reflect on how that shaped your interactions.

About this Plan

Built Different

We were made for more and created to live differently. We are not just forgiven, we are being formed. Through the gospel, God makes us new and calls us to reflect Jesus in the way we live and love. This Bible plan explores how salvation is not the finish line, but the starting point of a transformed life.
