Redemption and the Curse
Without a strong consciousness of righteousness, when we are tempted with problems, the mind begins to speculate. Was it something I did? Something I neglected? Something I exposed myself to? But in redemption we know that the covenant of peace is irreversible.
Revelation 13:8 tells us that the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world. Redemption was not an afterthought. It was established in the eternal purpose of God. What confronts us in time was already answered in eternity.
Isaiah 54:10 declares that even if the mountains depart and the hills are removed, God’s kindness will not depart from us, and His covenant of peace will not be removed. That covenant stands only because God declared it and Jesus enacted it in His finished works. No other reason.
Deuteronomy 28:61 makes it clear that sickness and plagues are under the curse of the law. But Galatians 3:13-14 answers that directly. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us through Jesus Christ. If Christ has redeemed us from the curse, then the curse cannot be interpreted as the will of God for us.
Galatians 5:6 says that in Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Performance does not secure covenant benefits. Faith does. And faith operates through the settled knowledge of the Father’s love.
Forgiveness and healing stand together because both are secured in redemption and grounded in covenant. An understanding of righteousness frees us of speculation.

About this Plan

Forgiveness and healing are not separate promises. They flow together from the same finished work of Christ. In this 7 day devotional, we trace the covenant thread from Isaiah to Galatians and see how redemption answers the curse of the law. Through Scripture, this plan establishes that sickness is not divine punishment and that righteousness has already been imputed through Christ. As we receive forgiveness fully, we are freed from guilt, legalism, and self accusation. As we release offence and extend grace, we walk in the liberty secured for us in redemption.
