If obedience were a business transaction, I’d have expected God to give back exactly what I lost — maybe with a little interest. But it turns out, Heaven doesn’t do “refunds.” It does upgrades.

When I finally surrendered my business, I thought I was closing a door. Little did I know, God was busy constructing a whole new building with more rooms, better lighting, and a far more generous rent policy. I call it God’s Plus-Plus Bonus.

At first, things started small — a few book projects, a handful of authors. But as time went on, CLC Kenya grew beyond anything I had imagined. Nations began to connect, doors opened across Africa, and soon, I was watching Kingdom impact unfold in real time.

And the best part? I wasn’t striving anymore. It was as if God was saying, “You see? When you stop clutching what you built, I can trust you with what I’m building.”

It reminded me of Job’s story. After everything was stripped away, God restored double. That’s not because Job worked harder the second time — it’s because surrender attracts abundance that hustle never can.

God never gives back what you lost; He gives you better. His “plus-plus bonus” doesn’t always look like more money or more followers — sometimes it’s deeper peace, wider influence, or lasting fruit. When you let go for His sake, you make room for His surplus.
