Day Seven - I can ask God to speak to me

This week we looked at how God loves it when we want to listen to Him!

READ:

‘A Voice in the night’ in any Children’s Bible or 1 Samuel 3.

What have you enjoyed learning about this week?

We have learnt all about how amazing it is when we listen to God's voice and do what He says.

At first Samuel found it hard to recognise the voice of God. But after he knew God was speaking to him, he did what God said and God gave Samuel everything that He had promised him.

In 1 Samuel 3:19-21 it says that "The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up. He did not let any of Samuel’s messages fail to come true....The Lord continued to show himself to Samuel. He also showed himself to Samuel through his word."

Maybe you heard God speak to you this week, or maybe you didn’t. That’s ok! The more you ask God to speak to you, the more you will learn to recognise His voice and the more you will hear Him speak! 

Remember God is always with you and He loves you so much. He loves it when we want to listen to Him, He wants to speak to us! 

ASK:

Has God spoken to you this week? We'd love to hear how you have listened to God and what He has said to you! 

REMEMBER:

Open my eyes to see the wonderful things in your teachings. (Psalm 119:18)

SAY:

I believe that the Bible has the greatest news You gave to help us find our way. 

Your word can be shared with anyone, anywhere! 

We trust what Your word says.
