Day Three - I Can Listen for God’s Voice
Yesterday we looked at how we can listen for God’s voice when we read the bible. Today we are going to look at how listening to God’s voice helps us make good choices and how we can listen to the bible.
READ:
‘A Voice in the night’ in any Children’s Bible or 1 Samuel 3
When we listen to God’s voice, He will help us to make good choices.
In our memory verse - Psalm 119:18 - the Psalmist is asking God to open his eyes to see the wonderful words in the Bible.
In the bible we will find so many wonderful things - did you know that we can listen to the bible?
Ask your grownup to help you find a way to listen to the bible - either they can read it to you, you can read it out loud or you can find an audio bible.
ASK:
When you listen to someone telling you a story, you listen carefully and learn what the story is about.
How will you listen to the bible and learn more about God, about His love and about how He wants us to live?
Spend some time today listening to the bible - can you make a plan to do this every day?
REMEMBER:
Open my eyes to see the wonderful things in your teachings. (Psalm 119:18)
SAY:
I believe that the Bible has the greatest news You gave to help us find our way.
Your word can be shared with anyone, anywhere!
We trust what Your word says.
You can use my words to share Your message
You are with me everywhere.
