Day One - I Can Listen for God’s Voice

Welcome to our Devotional, we are so glad that you have chosen to journey with us. We believe that the Bible is the greatest news and it is to be shared with anyone, anywhere! Do you know that God can use your words to share His message in ways that your friends will understand. So let’s dive deeper into the bible and see how God’s word is still relevant to our time! 

In the previous plan we looked at how we can hear from God. Sometimes we have to quiet ourselves to hear what He wants to say to us. This week we are going to look at how we can listen for God’s voice and the different ways God wants to speak to us.

When Samuel heard God call him three times, Eli told Samuel to listen for God’s voice again and to tell God that he was listening. 

Did you know that God wants us to listen to His voice?  

ASK:

Can you think of some ways we can listen to God’s voice? Maybe have a chat with your grownup about how they listen for God’s voice. 

Can you take a moment to tell God that you are listening to Him, just as Samuel did? 

What do you think will help you to listen for God’s voice? 

REMEMBER:

Open my eyes to see the wonderful things in your teachings. (Psalm 119:18)

SAY:

I believe that the Bible has the greatest news You gave to help us find our way. 

Your word can be shared with anyone, anywhere! 

We trust what Your word says.
