This is a powerful verse from John and as my friends can attest, one that I go to for strength and encouragement often.
Doubt and worry are two places the enemy will attack. Whenever I start to feel like I may not be good enough or strong enough in a particular situation, I will recall John 10:10 and use it as a litmus test for my thoughts.
If you recall your days in science class, a litmus test is conducted to determine with 100% certainty if a solution is an acid or a base. In the same way, I test my thoughts to determine who is saying these things to me. If I’m being told I’m not good enough, then I know with 100% certainty that these thoughts are not from God.
Remember, Jesus came to give us life, that we may have it to the full.
Are you being told that you are not good enough or that you do not belong? If so, I would encourage you to go to God’s word to determine what He says about you.
His words are life changing! John 10:10 is a great place to start.
