River Valley Church SOAP - Part 9Sample

Paul now shift gears from the story of Jesus to the individual story of our lives. He starts off by sharing about unity in our worship and our devotion to one God. But he also talks about how unity does not equal uniformity. There are many different believers with different backgrounds and different gifts, all being used within the church. He gives us examples of what decisions we would make in our old life, and how we are now to live in the new life. We see a metaphor of armor to help us grow and mature as followers of Jesus as well as stand strong against the enemy.
