Words That Transform Us 

Once I read of a beautiful incident. A man of God visited a glass factory. He was greatly amazed while looking at the glass in its melted form in the burning furnace, then it was blown into shapes by a person using a blow-pipe and a beautiful glass vessel was formed. He slowly approached the worker there and said, “Sir! If this burning furnace is so terrible, how much more worse will be the hell fire, burning eternally!” Saying this he left that place. But the words spoken by the man of God began to work in his heart. A week passed by. Suddenly one day, the worker came running to the man of God and said, “Sir! The other day you were talking about the burning hell. I am so terrified! I have lost my peace of mind. Whenever I look at the burning furnace in our factory, I am greatly disturbed as I am filled with the fear of hell. I don’t want to go to hell. Tell me the way to reach Heaven!” The man of God told him about Jesus Christ who died for the sins of humanity. When this worker came to know the truth that only Jesus can save him from hell, he immediately accepted Jesus into his life that very day. 

It is so amazing that when the word of truth from you goes forth it can turn a person to the Lord. Yes my friend, the truth will set free everyone who is in bondage. I urge you to know this word by reading it daily and also share it with others so that they can be saved from the burning hell fire. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, I submit myself to abide in Your word today. Let me not be a slave to sin but be Your child who abides in Your house forever. Give me the grace to share the same truth with others in order to set them free through Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.”
