Trust in Your God 

A little boy and his father took a walk through the woods one day. They suddenly came to a dark tunnel. The boy was afraid. Immediately, he put his hand into his father’s hand and his father led him through it. The fact remains that it was dark all around and the little boy was not blind to the darkness. But, he trusted his father! He simply knew that his father would lead him out safely. 

Yes! Our heavenly Father said, “I am with you always!” He is truly a Father to you. I believe that He loves you more than your best friend in this world. With your hand in His, you need not be worried about the darkness that surrounds you. The future is bright before you. Today God says, “I am the light of the world! I know what the future holds for you. Trust Me and I will lead you in a unique way!” Beloved, when a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the driver! And sing the song: 

“I know who holds the future, I know who holds my hand. 

With God things don’t just happen; All things by Him are planned. 

And as I face tomorrow with its problems great and small through ups and downs on life’s highway, l know He will lead me on!” 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, I put my hand in Yours. I believe that I am not alone. You are with me always. Help me to walk through this dark tunnel of my life and see the light at the end. Remove every fear from me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
