Irresistible Love

Many years ago, there was a young man who really hated the Lord Jesus Christ. Somebody gave him a Bible. But he just tore the bible and threw it in the fire and danced around it. A great bitterness filled his heart. One night, as he was struggling without peace, Jesus appeared before him. He was shocked and said, “It is the same Jesus I abused before everybody.” Jesus smiled at him and said, “My son, I love you; follow Me.” The love on the face of Jesus broke his heart. He cried out saying, “How I have wronged You Lord! But, You love me so much.” He began to follow God. Through this young man, great peace flowed into the lives of others. With the same hands he used in tearing the Bible, he healed many people. That young man was none other than Sadhu Sundar Singh, who was called as the “Apostle with bleeding feet” in later days.

The love of God is completely different from what one experiences from human beings. God first loved us even when we were sinners. He knows we are incapable of earning anything from God. So, Jesus finished everything for us. That’s grace! Beloved, on the cross, He manifested His love by defeating the devil and restoring everything that was lost. Today, praise God for His wonderful love. Let this love diffuse into every part of your being, for it brings prosperity, deliverance, healing, wisdom and more.

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross. Thank You for loving me even when I was a sinner. Thank You for making me righteous. Thank You for pouring Your love into my life. Let me carry this great love to someone today. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

‘God is love!’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
