Precious Promises 

Many years ago, during the Second World War, the dictator Hitler made a promise to Mussolini who was the dictator of Italy. Hitler said, “Mussolini, don’t be afraid. Whenever you are in trouble, just send a word to me, I will come and rescue you.” During the Second World War, Mussolini was in trouble and his enemies surrounded him. They were about to capture him whence forth he sent a desperate word to Hitler, “Please save me, Please save me.” Immediately, Hitler sent his planes and rescued Mussolini exactly according to his word. 

Beloved, if a wicked man can be so faithful in keeping his word, how much more will our loving Lord keep His word. His promises are available for both life and godliness. They are like bank cheques through which you can possess all blessings and enjoy them in your life. My dear friend! God’s word never fades away. It will come to pass. Hold on to His word. They are like a guiding rope during the dark hours. You will see the light. When you walk on waters, God’s word will freeze the waters. So, move forward. Nothing can stop your destiny. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, what is man that You are mindful of him? Thank You for Your precious promises. You make all things which are impossible, possible. Help me to hold on to every promise and wait patiently to see their fruits in my life. Let Your will be done every moment in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
