The Creator Knows 

Recently, I read a funny story. The Japanese are famous for their computer skills. They had installed a fully computerized weighing scale at the airport, which instead of giving the usual ‘sticker-tape readout’ of the height and weight, gives personal data in a mechanical voice. A skeptical American dropped in a coin and out of the speaker of this inventive Japanese device came the following announcement: “You are an American. You are 5’ 10” tall. You weigh 185 lbs and you have booked your ticket on flight 408 to Los Angeles, California.” The man was astonished but totally refused to believe this. So, he sneaked back into the club lounge, changed his clothes, put on a different coat and pulled his hat over his ears, so that it hid his face. Hobbling like a shrunken old man, the American stepped onto the machine, dropped in his coin and waited for the announcement. The voice announced from the speaker: “You are an American. You are 5’ 10” tall. You weigh 185 lbs and while you were changing your clothes, your plane left for Los Angeles.” 

If a man-made machine can accurately voice out every detail, how much more true it is that God knows every detail about you. After reading Psalm 139, don’t you feel like you are under divine security? Yes, God is continuously watching over you. He knows your every move. Rejoice, for you are safe. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for keeping me safe in Your hands. You watch my every move. You know everything about me. You formed me in my mother’s womb. I know I am safe under Your watchful eyes. I am not alone for You are always with me. I praise Your wonderful name. Amen.”
