Greatest Privilege 

In the days when Jesus sojourned on this earth, there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus. Jesus once spoke to him saying, “... unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus was baffled and was wondering how it was possible to be born again? And Jesus went on to say that one must be born of the water and the Spirit of God. My friend, why is it important for you to be born again? The Bible says that a man is dead in the trespasses and sins of the world. The spirit of a man is dead and God wishes to renew that spirit by connecting it with His Spirit. For this very reason, the Son of God came down to earth. 

Yes, Jesus was born for you only to give you the born again experience. When you accept Jesus as your personal saviour; when you are filled with Holy Spirit, God in His love raises you up from the dead and makes you sit together with Him in the heavenly places. This is the greatest privilege for God’s children. So, my friend will you not accept this Son of God who gave Himself up on the cross for you and said, ‘My child, I love you with an everlasting love?’ Be born again through Christ Jesus. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for speaking to me through this word of blessing. Enable me to be worthy of entering your kingdom.Lord, let not my spirit be dead because of my sins but let it be renewed through Your Holy Spirit. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
