Now Is The Time 

There was a young girl born in a family which had an invincible faith in regular morning and evening prayers pleading for the Lord’s abundant blessings. Ironically, the young girl hated prayers. She didn’t have even an iota of faith in God and in prayers. Her mother lovingly cautioned her saying, “My dear daughter, when I began my married life, we faced dire circumstances. But we put our faith on our Lord Jesus. He took charge of our family and started guiding us and blessing us. If you denigrate Him today, He will remove Himself from your path of life.” The young girl was foolish not to understand the deep undertones of her mother’s advice. Alas! Leaving her home, she chose to live with her friends. Unlike the prodigal son, who ultimately returned to his father, her mind did not permit her to go back home. In the end, her life was ruined. 

My dear young friend, the world has captured the hearts of young people in many ways. Young people run after fame and money. They wish to earn a lot in short period of time and get settled, because of which they tirelessly run and get weary soon. They forget that there is someone above them watching over them and controlling their lives. Are you too in the same boat stuck in the storm? Jesus says, ‘Remember me! I will do wonders in your life.’ 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, this is the word You have spoken to me today and I thank You for it. I was drawn to the pleasures of this world and walked far away from You. Forgive me Father! Lord, I come back to You; accept me with wide open arms and do wonders in my life. Amen.”
