Threefold Cord 

There lived a servant of God named Paul, who loved the Lord. When he received a call from God to do full time ministry, he resigned his secular job and told his wife that God had called him to do His ministry. Initially they had to face hardship, starvation, sorrow and pain but because of their fervent love for God, the hand of God descended upon them. Every day they prayed with oneness of mind, “Lord You are the One who called us to do Your ministry; You who called us will be faithful to us. Build this ministry, O Lord.” 

Once as they were crying out to God in prayer, a bright light shone upon them. They heard the voice of God from heaven, “Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” They were thrilled beyond words. From that day onwards, the Lord walked with them and prospered their family life and as the blessings of God abounded in all that they did, a mighty ministry was established for God. 

Yes! When the husband and wife have oneness of mind they will be able to receive blessings from the hand of God. God blesses each and every endeavor of the couple who glorify Him. A family that is instituted by God receives blessings from the hand of God. Therefore, do not have any fears regarding your future. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, it is You who have knit our hearts together. I command in the name of Jesus, that Your hand would descend on me and my family and build our lives. Give us the wisdom to raise our children in Your ways and grant our children a bright future. Amen.”
