Open Heart! 

A sister was very distressed due to various problems in her family. At that time, someone gave her an audio cassette of the Jesus Calls Ministry. In that message, my father late Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran had beautifully spoken on the topic, “How our home would be when Jesus Christ comes in.” While she was listening to it, she heard a knock on the door. She ran to open it but there was no one there; this happened twice and when she heard a knock for the third time, she rushed to the door with the thought that it may be Jesus. When she opened the door she saw Jesus and invited him saying, “Please, come in Jesus.” That moment she was filled with joy unspeakable. From that day onwards, blessings began to flow in full measure into their household. 

My friend, when the Lord led the Israelites from Egypt which was the land of their captivity, to the promised land of milk and honey, through the wilderness and even through the sea under the leadership of Moses, everyone stayed in tents during the journey. At that time, the Lord told Moses that He too would like to dwell amidst His children and told him to prepare a tabernacle for Him. He is the Lord of lords seated on the throne on high! But still, He wished to stay in man-made tents along with His people. This is the love our God has for His people. 

 Prayer

“Loving Lord, You are the Almighty God, seated on the throne surrounded by thousands of angels and yet Father, You wish to dwell in me. I thank You Lord for choosing me as Your dwelling place. I welcome You into my heart. Amen.”
