Unseen Treasures 

Years ago, the people of Arabia lived as shepherds and they were in poverty stricken conditions. Once, one of the shepherds came to the king and reported, “You majesty, something dark is bubbling out of the earth in our region. Our sheep drank it and died. Please save our lives. If we lose our flocks we cannot survive.” This came to the notice of an English man who was living in the palace. He was teaching English to the king’s children. He suggested that it would be better if the king paid a visit to the site since it was facing such a crisis. When they went there, the English man recognized that the black liquid was petrol. He said to the shepherds, “This is not something that spoils your lives. It is something precious that would enrich you.” They tested the site and then began to pump out the expensive petrol. Through this the poor shepherds became rich sheiks. The people of that region became millionaires and the whole nation became very rich. 

The Lord would do likewise for you too. With this faith, enter this day courageously. Your God, guides you, makes the crooked places straight, breaks the barriers, throws open brass doors and destroys iron bars. He goes before you, clearing all the impediments that had been blocking your path so far. 

Prayer

“My dear Father, I praise You with all my heart for in You are hidden the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Grant me this day, the hidden treasures that You have stored up for those who love You. Prosper my efforts in all things that I venture into. This I ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
