Joyed Up DevotionalSample

RELAX AND MEDITATE OFTEN
Don't sweat the small stuff–relax. Don't take life too seriously; there are over 7 billion other people here, so don't work yourself out. Instead, relax and find solace in meditation. Find a quiet place where you can reach the depths of you and break forth as rivers of living water flowing from within you. Meditate on GOD's words and promises. Read a book that would help you be a better person. Don't get too busy being 'busy'. Take time to relax and meditate. It eases the pressure and stress of work and improves your productivity when you get back to work. Your mind is not only renewed, but you rid it of junk that may weigh you down and bring sadness or depression. Go easy on yourself and value your alone time; be at peace with yourself, and joy will find you.
Action Tip:
Take a break from strenuous activities and look inwards. Reflect on your life, your journey through life and all the great things you've done in the past weeks, months or years. Don't worry about your life at this point, just think. Reflect on GOD's promises - the ones that have manifested in your life and the ones that are yet to. Keep your journal close because ideas come out of deliberately thinking in a relaxed atmosphere. You may choose a quiet place, a beach, a garden or somewhere comfortable for meditation & relaxation.
Affirmations:
I declare that I find peace and joy in meditating on GOD’s word. I do not allow the pressures of life to dictate my response. But I allow faith produced from reading and meditating on GOD’s word to do a good work in my life. I declare that I am deliberate with the daily routines that I do not let them stress me out and take away my joy. I have the energy needed to do life the way GOD wants me to. I am happy; I am joyed up and excited about my life.
