Day 15: Already Enough
Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Paul calls you God’s handiwork. The Greek word is poiema, where we get the English word “poem.” You’re not an accident or an assembly line product. You’re a crafted work. Intentional. Specific. Made with purpose.
And the good works you’re called to? God prepared them in advance. Before you knew your gifts, before you figured out your direction, before anyone affirmed your calling, God already laid it out. You’re not scrambling to find purpose. You’re walking into something that was set up before you arrived.
Here’s the gospel that anchors all of it. Before Jesus ever began His public ministry, Satan tried to make Him question His identity. “If you really are the Son of God…” It was an identity test. And Jesus didn’t prove Himself through performance. He stood on truth. He answered every lie with Scripture.
At the cross, Jesus took on every lie that distorts our identity and replaced it with a new one: loved, forgiven, chosen. Because of Him, you don’t have to earn your worth. You don’t have to fight for your identity. It’s already been settled.
You are God’s handiwork. Created on purpose. Equipped for good works. And nothing anyone says can undo what God has already declared about you.
Reflect: If you fully believed you were God’s handiwork, created on purpose, how would it change the way you showed up tomorrow?
Today: Write Ephesians 2:10 on a note and put it where you’ll see it every morning. Let it be the first thing that speaks to your identity before the world gets a chance.
