GOD MOVES THROUGH IMPERFECTION
Have you ever felt like you couldn’t start something until everything was just right? I know I have. For the longest time, I delayed launching my YouTube® channel because I was waiting for the “perfect moment.” But here’s what I’ve learned: perfection is a trap, and waiting for it only holds you back.
Whether it’s the perfect relationship, perfect time to date, or perfect skill set, the more you wait, the more you delay your growth — and the more you limit the space for God to move through you. In business, there’s a saying: “Progress beats perfection every time.” Taking consistent steps forward is far more powerful than standing still, trying to get everything perfect.
In social media, we hear: “Done is better than perfect.” Post the video—even if it’s not studio-quality. Share the photo—even if you don’t look flawless. Record the podcast—even if your mic isn’t top-tier. People don’t connect with perfection—they connect with authenticity.
Spiritually, Scripture reminds us: “God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.” God isn’t waiting for you to be flawless — He asks only that you be willing. When you take a step, He meets you there. That first move may feel small or shaky, but growth always begins in motion.
If I had waited until I was a fully healed woman, I would’ve never started dating. If I had waited to be a flawless speaker, I would’ve never preached my first sermon. If I had waited to be ‘perfect,’ I would’ve never launched this ministry. God asks for obedience and faith — not perfection.
So the next time you tell yourself, I’m not ready for a healthy relationship, remember…
- Moses stuttered
- David sinned
- Peter denied
- Thomas doubted
Yet God used them powerfully. So give yourself permission to be human: to try, to fail, to grow, to love, and to enjoy the journey. Stop waiting. Today is a gift — too valuable to waste on perfectionism. Often, procrastination hides behind the mask of “waiting for perfect.” But the longer you wait, the more you withhold the gifts God wants to share through you.
Reflection:
What have you been putting off until it’s “perfect”? Write it down. Pray on it. And most importantly — start.

About this Plan

Singleness is truly a gift—a season not to waste, but to lean into with intention and faith. This is a time to lock in with God, grow in wisdom, and discover who you are without distraction. It’s not just powerful; it’s purposeful. And I don’t believe it’s an accident that you’re here. Something in you is craving a fresh perspective, a new way to view this season of your life. God has something new, something life-giving, waiting for you. This is your moment to lean in, trust Him deeply, and embrace the journey ahead with confidence and expectancy.
