The Year of the Courageous

DAY 4 OF 21

Courage to Let Go of Control

Reflection:

Control is comforting because it makes us feel safe. But faith and control can’t coexist. At some point, you’ll have to surrender your need to know everything in order to trust the One who does.

Letting go doesn’t mean apathy—it means alignment. It’s choosing to believe that God’s plan is still working, even when it doesn’t look like it. Some of the most courageous acts of faith are the quiet ones: releasing your grip on outcomes, people, or timelines.

God never asked you to understand everything. He asked you to trust Him through everything. When you loosen your grip, you create space for His hand to move.

Prayer:

Father, I surrender my need to control what only You can guide. Teach me to rest in Your wisdom and walk in Your peace. When I’m tempted to take things back into my hands, remind me that Your way is always better. Amen.
