We need to have love for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
John 13:34-35 is a commandment to guide us in all of our relationships. Those we interact with should see the love of Christ through us, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus says, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” The Church is made up of former rebels from all walks of life, now born again. Christians come from different backgrounds and are at varied stages of their Christian walk and maturity. God does not call us to create cliques with only those we like.
He calls us to walk in patience, love and unity with our brethren, knowing that it doesn’t come naturally to us, but He has equipped us to do it!
