Back to the Basics 365Sample

A part of having healthy Christian relationships is knowing how to biblically handle relationships that drag us down spiritually. The Bible warns us against entering into contractual relationships with unbelievers. This would include a believer getting married to someone who is an unbeliever. You may have gotten saved after you were married, and your spouse is still unsaved. This does not mean you should seek to break that bond. God wants you to stay and pray for your unsaved spouse and have a Christian testimony towards them.
The unmarried believer, however, should not seek out and enter a binding relationship with an unbeliever under any circumstances. This can also apply to certain business partnerships, organizations, or anything not like-minded to which you may be bound. Priorities will be different for you and an unsaved partner, and you do not want to be in a situation that may lead you into sin.
