Biblical discernment is defined as the Spirit-empowered ability to distinguish between right and wrong, truth and error, while using God's Word as the objective standard. Everything we do and every decision we make should be viewed through the lens of Scripture.

A good Christian friend of mine once told me that his “life was governed by what was found in the pages of God's Word." What did he mean by that? He meant that he strives to ensure every action aligns with what God desires.

So, how do you know what God wants or expects from you? The answer is simple: by knowing His Word, the Bible.

Are you reading His Word regularly, and are you asking yourself before any decision, “What does God’s Word have to say about this?”
