Provision, Protection, PowerSample

God’s Soul Protection.
When we think of God’s protection, we often picture physical safety. And yes—God does protect us physically. But He also wants to protect your soul: your mind, thoughts, will, heart, and emotions.
You can be protected physically but still live in defeat if you allow the enemy’s lies to invade your thoughts and take root in your heart.
God’s peace is what guards your heart and mind. The peace of God is powerful protection from the lies of the enemy. It removes anxiety, steadies your heart, and gives victory over fear.
Philippians 4:6-7 commands us not to be anxious about anything. How can we do that? By giving God our requests, burdens, and prayers—and by telling Him what’s on our minds, pouring our hearts out to Him. We do this with a thankful heart, knowing He hears, answers, and takes care of us. Finally, we don't pick up our burdens again and take them with us to carry. We actually leave them with Him.
The result? His peace floods our souls. His peace stands guard over our hearts and minds, pushing away every lie of the enemy, because we know we are loved and protected by our God.
Renew—or renovate—your mind with the truth of God’s Word (Romans 12:2). Demolish and keep out the lies invading your heart and mind by replacing them with the truth of God's Word. As you receive and believe what God says, your heart and mind will dwell in safety and rest, protected by His peace and presence.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, reveal the lies I’ve entertained for too long and guide me into the truth. I renew my mind today by tearing down old walls of lies and building with the new through your truth. Thank you for such amazing peace as I renew my mind and trust you with all of my needs that I lay at your feet in prayer. Amen.”
