Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory (1 Timothy 3:16 NKJV).
How well do you personally know the God-Man?
Paul tells Timothy that Jesus, who is fully God and fully man, serves as our Mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). Through Him, we are invited into a personal and intimate relationship with the Father. Jeremiah emphasizes this importance: "Let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me" (Jeremiah 9:24 NKJV).
Do you take time each day to deepen your relationship with Christ? He longs for you to walk closely with Him. I pray that you get to know Jesus personally and deeply.
Employment Point: Cultivate a daily personal walk with the God-Man.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
