Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV).
Are you firmly rooted and grounded in your faith?
In today’s Old Testament reading, God called the young Jeremiah to proclaim difficult truths to a rebellious people, even in the face of opposition. In the New Testament, Paul also cautioned the Thessalonians about the coming work of the Antichrist, urging them to "stand fast" in their faith (2 Thessalonians 2:15).
As you navigate life’s challenges, are you deeply rooted in your beliefs, able to stand firm when the storms come? Take a moment to reflect on how you can strengthen your faith, ensuring that you remain grounded in God’s truth when opposition arises. Stand firm, my child, even when it’s hard. Let God’s Word be your anchor in all circumstances.
Employment Point: Remain loyal to your God-given call despite ungodly opposition.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
