Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV).
What is your plan for personal peace?
Paul advises Christians in Ephesians 4 to "put off" the old self and "put on" the new, which honors God and fosters peace. True peace comes when we intentionally replace old habits with new, godly ones. Putting off the old and replacing it with the new begins with a commitment. Knowing this, Paul guides the saints, “be renewed in the spirit of your mind” (Ephesians 4:23 NKJV).
What old attitudes or actions do you need to let go of? It's not enough to merely stop sinful habits; you must replace them with something good. Renewing your mind requires daily commitment. Are you ready to make that commitment? This is your opportunity to start fresh. Replace an old habit with a godly practice and experience the peace that follows.
Employment Point: Be renewed daily in your mind by replacing the old with the new to experience God’s perfect peace.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
