While We Wait - Living in Expectancy for Christ's Return (For Women)Sample

Day 1 - Worship While We Wait
At the time of this writing, I’m listening to instrumental worship music. Its melodies are lifting my spirit. While we wait on Christ’s return, let’s saturate our hearts and homes with songs of praise, adoration, and encouragement. Yet, might I add that worship is more than a song. It’s also an act of obedience. Every moment of heartfelt worship is a step towards following Him, keeping our hearts ready and our lamps full of oil, just as the five wise bridesmaids did while awaiting the Bridegroom. Sis, let your worship today ignite the flame that keeps your lamp full and shining bright until He comes.
Personal Reflection Questions:
1. How does your current worship, both in song and in obedience reflect your readiness for Christ’s return?
2. In what ways can you intentionally “fill your lamp” today through acts of worship, gratitude, or service?
3. Are there any distractions or attitudes in your heart that dim your lamp, and how can you surrender them to God?
Closing Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of worship that draws me closer to You. Help me to keep my heart surrendered, my lamp full, and my spirit ready for Your return. May every song I sing and every act of obedience fan the flame of Your presence within me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
