While We Wait - Living in Expectancy for Christ's Return (For Women)Sample

Day 8 - Obey While We Wait
One of my favorite verses that helps keep my lamp burning brightly is from the book of James. It reminds me know that it’s not enough to just read God’s Word, we must also put it into action. Living with expectancy for Christ’s return means walking in obedience to His wise instructions. Sis, today, take steps of obedience, whether big or small, knowing that each one helps prepare you for His promised return.
Reflection Questions:
1. In what areas of your life are you reading God’s Word but not fully putting it into practice?
2. How can you take intentional steps of obedience today to align your life with God’s instructions?
3. What small actions can you take daily to live expectantly for Christ’s return?
Closing Prayer:
“Lord, help me to not only read Your Word but to live it out in every area of my life. Teach me to take steps of obedience each day, so that I am ready and prepared for Your return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
