While We Wait - Living in Expectancy for Christ's Return (For Women)Sample

Day 2 – Pray While We Wait
As Kingdom women, we are called to make time to talk to our soon-coming King. When we reflect on the parable of the ten bridesmaids, the five who were unprepared heard Jesus say, “I don’t know you." It makes me shutter to read those words. To ensure our Bridegroom knows us when He returns, we must cultivate a daily relationship with Him now. And that means regularly talking to Him. So, sis, never stop praying. Talk to our Lord about everything and every day while we wait.
Reflection Questions:
1. In what ways are you intentionally making time each day to communicate with our soon-coming King?
2. Are there areas in your life where you may be “unprepared,” and how can you invite Jesus into those areas through prayer?
3. How can you deepen your daily relationship with Christ so that you are known by Him when He returns?
Closing Prayer:
“Father, thank You for calling me to a relationship with You. Help me, Lord, to make time each day to talk to You and to cultivate a heart that is always ready for Your return. Forgive me for the moments I have neglected prayer, and guide me in growing closer to You. Let my life reflect a daily connection with You, so that I am prepared and known by You, my Bridegroom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
