While We Wait - Living in Expectancy for Christ's Return (For Women)Sample

Day 7 – Repent While We Wait
Repentance is about turning away from thoughts and actions that don’t honor God. I like to say, “It’s a 180, not a 360.” Think about your life for a moment. Are there areas where you need to turn back to God? If so, confession is key. Sis, now is the time for Him to refine you. Remember, the five foolish bridesmaids didn’t have extra oil. Their lamp was going out. Don’t let your lamp burn out while waiting on Christ's return. For a brief moment, examine your heart, repent, and turn fully back to Him, if you've fallen short of His glory.
Reflection Questions:
1. What areas in your life need a 180? What thoughts, habits, or actions need to be surrendered so that you'll be ready with extra oil when Christ returns?
2. How often do you practice confession and allow God to refine your heart?
3. What steps can you take today to ensure that your spiritual lamp stays full and burning brightly?
Closing Prayer:
“Lord, reveal any areas in my life that need a 180 turn. Help me to confess, repent, and allow Your refining work to restore my heart, keeping my lamp full and ready for Your return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
