A Forever Promise from Revelation 1:17-18; 21:1-7

Note to the parents:

You’ve been spending time with your child sharing these stories daily. It’s been something for you both to look forward to. Great job making it a priority in your busy day!

Help your child recall the story by asking simple questions about what happened.

Examples:

• What did John see in his vision?
• Will there be tears, pain, or death in the new heaven and earth?
• Who is the new world for?

Together, think about what you have learned. Invite your child to ask you the question. Encourage them to add their thoughts or fill in a blank when prompted.

What did we learn about GOD?

• God promises those who follow and trust in Jesus a wonderful new future.
• God promises to make a new heaven and earth where no one will die, cry, or feel any pain.

What did we learn about PEOPLE?

• People who trust in Jesus and follow Him can know that this promise is for their future!

What did we learn about JESUS?

• Jesus made a way for us to live forever with God!

Thank You for the promise of a wonderful future!

I know that Jesus makes it possible for me to live in a new heaven and earth with You one day.
