TODAY’S STORY

Journeys for Jesus from Acts 13-14; 16; 20-21; 25; 27-28

Note to the parents:

Ask your child what they like about sharing these stories with you. Remind them how much you enjoy spending time learning about God with them, too.

Help your child recall the story by asking simple questions about what happened.

Examples:

• What did Paul believe God wanted him to do?
• What did the angel tell Paul during the storm?
• What happened when Paul prayed for the sick man?

Together, think about what you have learned. Invite your child to ask you the question. Encourage them to add their thoughts or fill in a blank when prompted.

What did we learn about GOD?

• God used Paul’s time in prison for good.
• Many of the letters that Paul wrote were inspired by God and are now in the Bible we read today.

What did we learn about PEOPLE?

• People go through hard and painful times. But none of it is wasted.
• God can use even our worst times to fulfill His plan.
