Help your child recall the story by asking simple questions about what happened.

• He always hears His people’s prayers.
• When Elijah prayed, God heard him and answered his prayer.

• People can choose to worship God as the one, true God.
• We can have faith that God hears our prayers and answers in both big and small ways.
