Hebrews Part 3: Sleepy Christianity

DAY 18 OF 18

What’s Your Mission Today?

When God gives you a new identity in Christ, He’s not handing you a spiritual trophy; He’s giving you a mission. In the early church, being set apart by God wasn’t reserved for monks or miracle workers. Paul constantly used this language to describe everyday believers chosen to serve God’s purpose. It wasn’t about a title; it was about action. God’s people were holy, yes, but they were also active, sent, and strategic for the Kingdom.

The Bible says you’ve been made part of God’s royal priesthood—a holy team meant to reject the world’s ways and walk in righteousness. That means you're not just saved from sin—you’re sent into a broken world with purpose. You’re not a sideline spectator—you’re a Kingdom asset. Paul uses the word “saints” more than 30 times, and Revelation repeats it 14 more. Why? Because it defines who we are and what we’re called to do.

That’s why Hebrews pushes believers to move forward in faith. Saints don’t retreat. Saints rise, endure, and obey. This identity isn’t passive—it’s a call to get in the fight and hold the line. You’ve been saved, yes—but you’ve also been set apart and sent out. Don’t waste that assignment.

You’re not just getting through life—you’re on a mission for the King. So, quit waiting for perfect conditions. Step up. Live holy. Fight hard. Finish strong.

Where is God sending you to make a difference this week?
